'Natha Devale, Kandy.

The archeological excavations around the 'Maligawa Complex' in Kandy has found evidence of worship at the Natha Devale site from the early Centuries of the Present Era. This is a picture of the 'Natha Dewale' as seen from the 'Dalda Maligawa'. Natha, Vishnu, Skanda and Vinayaga have temples for worship in Kandy from very early times, predating the Dalada Maligawa.
