Nilaverai deep well, Jaffna, Sri Lanka.

The deep well at Nilaverai supplies an inexhaustible supply of fresh water. The pictures show the temple and the entrance to the deep well. This is on the Chunnaakam - Kopay road.

The Market at 'Maruthanaamadam' on the Maipay Kopay road is held every morning. The produce from the surrounding countryside is brought here for sale.
