The legend in the area refers to a 'Queen' who committed suicide on hearing of the falsely reported death of her husband in a battle. The King on finding this out on returning home took his own life. The ghost of the King riding his horse has been sighted by many believers. This place is supposed to have a lot of 'Anuhas' (occult powers) and many people come to take vows.

Wild Bee-hive on the branch of a Rambuttan tree, Avissawella, Sri Lanka.

I was looking for a bee colony to replace the one we have in our home-garden. I was told that there was a hive near a house of a friend of mine. When I went to see it I found that the bees were larger in size. These were not suitable for a home hive as they do not stay in one place for too long.
