Passing Ritigala, Sri Lanka.

The 'Ritigala' mountain.
The Ritigala mountain is of historical interest. Legend has it that it was used by the Yakshas, an ancient people of Sri Lanka as a power base. They withdrew here to rest and recuperate after losing any battle.
There are ruins of Buddhist monasteries to be seen now. It is a protected area now. A lot of rare medicinal herbs are also said to be found there.
