On the road to Pungudutheevu, Sri Lanka.

Long stretches of roadway through the waters.

A fisherman in his wooden boat.

Cormorants resting on sticks used to anchor fishing nets.

An abandoned house.

This is what we saw on our three visits on the way to Nagadeepa and Delft.

And the following short story is the shortest story in the world, next to the one about that girl.
It is true. Can get dates.

Some years ago, the island of Delft, 36 Km long round it, a one hour boat ride away from Nagadeepa, had only two motor vehicles.
And, hold it, one day they crashed into each other bringing the island road transport system to an absolute halt!
